I had the pleasure to do a talk about FX for Mobile games with Unreal 4 at the SAE Alumni Convention.
As the first FX Artist in Innogames I build up the pipeline and workflows to produce effects in Unreal 4 for our mobile game.
I implement the creative process for FX. Means starting with concepts, and „FX Art Guidelines“ to make sure to have constant FX style and to figure out technical issues in forehand of production .
My talked was about:.
- About the limitations for Mobile Productions.
- Building up the right pipeline and workflows for a our mobile game with Unreal 4 Engine.
- Communication with Game Design, Art Department and Developers, for the develop the best Output.
- Experiences to working with a Junior FX Artists current the production.
